Notification Settings and History Mismatch
Follow these checks when notifications are enabled but pushes/history do not match.
Symptoms
- Push notifications do not arrive even when enabled.
- Notification history is empty or only partially visible.
- Only one device misses alerts.
Possible Causes
- App/OS push permission is disabled.
- Device-level settings and server preferences are inconsistent.
- History was deleted or queried in too narrow a range.
Immediate Actions
- Verify both app notification settings and OS permissions.
- Save notification-type preferences again and restart app.
- If needed, clear local history and test receiving again.
If It Still Fails
- Share device model, OS version, missing alert type, and last successful receive timestamp.
