Notification Settings and History Mismatch

Follow these checks when notifications are enabled but pushes/history do not match.

Symptoms

  • Push notifications do not arrive even when enabled.
  • Notification history is empty or only partially visible.
  • Only one device misses alerts.

Possible Causes

  • App/OS push permission is disabled.
  • Device-level settings and server preferences are inconsistent.
  • History was deleted or queried in too narrow a range.

Immediate Actions

  • Verify both app notification settings and OS permissions.
  • Save notification-type preferences again and restart app.
  • If needed, clear local history and test receiving again.

If It Still Fails

  • Share device model, OS version, missing alert type, and last successful receive timestamp.
